In celebration of the one year anniversary of Unfolding Words, I have invited on a number of my favorite people on the internet who teach the Bible and are involved in theology matters. This week’s guest is Kristie Anyabwile. I had the best time chatting with Kristie—I felt like we were kindred spirits.

She's a wife, mother, and homemaker who loves leading Bible studies, discipling women, cooking, hospitality, and reading. Her husband Thabiti Anyabwile pastors Anacostia River Church in Washington, DC. We talked about how she grew in the Word, how she spends her time in the Word, her heart for discipling women and her upcoming book, His Testimonies, My Heritage: Women of Color on the Word of God. She is a wealth of wisdom on the Bible, discipling women and how to teach the Bible.
